How I Found Fitness:
At the age of 24 I suffered a broken wrist and was dealing with depression. I felt a pull to begin exercising as an attempt to strengthen my body and mind. I felt better and better each day, and began to exercise as much as possible. I found Freedom through exercise- freedom from all the pain in my life. As a rookie, the first two years my diet consisted of high sodium high carbs and starch carbs. I gained a lot of size but was soft and had no cardiovascular endurance. Once I begin to educate myself on proper nutrition for my muscles to grow and recover, everything changed.
