Alex started his career as a personal trainer 12 years ago while he was an undergrad. In 2010 Alex decided to compete in his home country in order to go on to international competitions. He won Mr. Lebanon, then left for England to continue his studies at the University of Oxford Brookes. (Studying for his masters in sport and exercise nutrition.)
While in England, Alex obtained certification as IFBB judge.
Alex is also a member of the international society for sport nutrition (ISSN).
Kettlebell, or as it was called the Russian kettlebell, is a kettle shape metal weight that was first used by the Russians back in the 18th century. That is where the name/idea came from.
Kettlebell swings should be implemented in our weekly workout. Why?
In our modern world we spend the majority of our days doing things in front of us with terrible posture. We crouch over keyboards while our chests cave in and our hips shorten from sitting. We drive for hours and not move with our arms in front of us while, again, we’re seated with shortened hip flexors.
Often times we see that word, either when reading about nutrition or on a sport supplement. What is recovery and how important is the post workout phase?
For any athlete or a person who is seeking results recovery is crucial. If you fail to be fully recovered, for the next physical attempt, which can be the next day or in few hours for some athletes. That can result in bad performance, quick fatigue, weak ability to finish a certain exercise, and if you are in a game then most probably you will lose.
Every year, 1.2 billion viewers tune in to watch their favorite soccer teams play in the World Cup. Soccer players, like most athletes, focus on the game they are committed to during training. Some of them do not exercise enough in the right way when it comes to weight training (such as strength training), to make them stronger and perform better, or even have fewer injuries.
As we know L-glutamine is a non-essential amino acid. Throughout the years studies on glutamine showed that we need it the same as we need other essential amino acids. Especially if you are a person with a lot of stress or you put a lot of stress on your body.
Whether you are an athlete that trains hard for long hours or a business person that works for long hours you need to use glutamine and on daily basis.
