The fitness club will feature fantastic views of Main Street, the historic Midland Theater and the downtown skyline. It will be located adjacent to One Light, a 311-unit apartment building opening in 2015 at the corner of 13th and Walnut Streets, and just half a block from a streetcar stop.
“One of the things we take the greatest pride in is delivering best-in-class tenants to Kansas City,” said Nick Benjamin, Executive Director of the Kansas City Power & Light District. “It is only fitting that one of the nation’s best fitness center operations will opening in a premier Downtown development, directly above one of the nation’s best grocery store operations. 2013 was a great year for the Power & Light District and downtown in general, but with the addition of Onelife this summer and the start of construction of the One Light tower later this winter, 2014 is shaping up to be our best year yet.”
Onelife Fitness will be the first full service, large format fitness center to open in Kansas City’s revitalized downtown and will meet a growing need for lifestyle and fitness services created by the downtown residential population boom.
“Given the vibrant, energetic environment of both the Power and Light District and Onelife Fitness we are confident this is the perfect match,” said Kirk Galiani.
