Jason Ferruggia and Bedros Keuilian have both earned international respect and multi-million dollar incomes in the fitness industry, Ferruggia as a strength coach and Keuilian as a fitness marketing expert and CEO of the globally-franchised Fit Body Boot Camps. In a recent interview together, Ferruggia explained that, despite his huge successes, if he were starting a fitness business today, he would do some things very differently.

"I've been successful far beyond anything I ever dreamed or intended, but it took me twenty years to make it happen," he explained to Keuilian. "Today, I would approach things very differently and be able to get to this point much faster and without working incredible hours for so long."


A long-time family-owned business in St. George has come to the local area. Dixie Nutrition opened its newest store in Mesquite last month. The store opened in the Bowler Plaza near Smith’s and is off to a fantastic start.

In addition to deep discounts on the store’s line of health and nutrition products, the grand opening event offered some great opportunities for local shoppers. There were free samples, gift baskets and other giveaways and special prize drawings for customers who came in during the grand opening week.

“The opening has gone really well,” said store owner Greg Gillespie. “There is a strong demand there for this type of store and we have seen that over the past few weeks.”

Sports nutrition retailer GNC has launched its latest concept store format in Guildford’s Friary Centre, Surrey, UK.

The new-look GNC store takes as much inspiration from the gym as it does from the shop floor including interactive fixtures such as a ‘TRX Challenge Zone’ for live workouts, plus ‘Sports Bar’, a mix-and-go unit for fitness enthusiasts to purchase single protein shakes to take away or top up a bottle they carry with them.
